Here is my pattern for the Super Sailor Senshi sleeve roll!
1.) After you cut out your fabric, open the fabric (so that it is no longer folded in half) and then, with the right sides together, fold it in half the other way so that the sides are touching, and sew/serge.
2.) Fold your pattern back to how it originally looked and an inch from your seam, you will sew a 5/8" seam at the edge of your fabric and stop an inch from the seam on the other side (this will allow for stuffing)
3.) Starting from an inch from your seam where you just sewed, you will now sew a line directly and evenly in between the line you just sewed and the folded edge of the fabric and stop sewing an inch before you reach the seam just as you did in step 2 to allow for stuffing.
4.) Stuff the tubes you just created and as you get towards the center seam where your 2" sides are sewn, cease stuffing (or stuff very lightly) and finish sewing those 2" of space you left for the middle of the rolls and for the end seam.
5.) Attach to your leotard!
*TIPS: TO USE THIS PATTERN FOR A NORMAL SENSHI UNIFORM WITH THREE ROLLS, SIMPLY ADD 1" (2.5cm) TO THE 2" ENDS AND THE 4" MIDDLE SO THAT YOUR MEASUREMENTS ARE 17" (43.2cm) x 3" (7.6cm) x 5" (12.7)
**Depending on the size of your arm hole, you will simply increase or decrease the length of the sleeve
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! I will be making a video tutorial on this eventually!
