Sailor Cosmos Staff Tutorial by Xelhestiel Sailor Cosmos Staff Tutorial by Xelhestiel

It appears you don't have PDF support in this web browser. Download PDF

As promised, here is the tutorial for Sailor Cosmos' staff!

I don't have any pictures yet of the entire staff since it's been rather icky outside lately and the lighting is terrible in the house.

I originally purchased them at Michael's, but years ago they stopped carrying them, so I now order mine on Amazon and they come in various sizes!  www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_nos…

To remove the hook, carefully cut them off with a pair of scissors! (The ones I use are like the first three as they come apart).

If it makes you feel any better, I haven't seen them since. I guess it was just a one time only thing...

But definitely, around Christmas time, look around for little hanging ornaments - that's what mine were, I just took the string off it :)

What a pretty staff! I'm not good with props but I heard resin makes things more durable.

I wouldn't use resin on this lol
I would be making this staff completely differently!

Finally someone who knows what they're talking about, it's really hard to find a good version of a Sailor Cosmos wand.

Thank you! Although my staff did break... lol - I will have to find a more effective way to make it and, when I eventually do, I will be re-making the staff in its entirety.

Wow... so beautiful! I'm wondering if it was difficult to glue the wooden ball to the pvc pipe (since the pvc's end if just a thin rim, and not a solid surface?)

I'm considering using Styrofoam balls, then paper-claying it and then painting it - from your experience, would you say the wooden balls served you better? :3

Thanks so much!

I never got to use my staff since I never finished Cosmos - however I did accidentally kick it, it fell and then the balls at the bottom and the topper broke off XD

Not until I eventually re-make Cosmos' outfit - I didn't like how it came out.
